Overview
8th edition in 2011 for the Grand Prix International de la Côte d'Opale now well established in the program of races in the North Sea and Eastern Channel. The event presents an interesting mixture of inshore races (upward/leeward or coastal) with a long race between Boulogne and Dunkerque with the passage of Gris-Nez with its strong currents. Competitors are divided into 3 fleets :
The race attracts each year over 50 competitors from Nord Pas de Calais, Normandy, Belgium, England and the Netherlands. |
